P1. 6/m/boy, complex febrile seizure. no source of infection. h/o swimming in river
fresh water related infection;
1. amoeba
2. eosinophilic meningtis / angiostrongylus cantonensis. infected undercooked prawns, slug feces contaminant in leaves nvegetables. treat symptomatic
3. schistosomiasis - itchy dermatitis
4. shigella, salmonella, ecoli
5. cyanobacteria


Lp? no neurological deficit, awake after 6 hours of seizure.
no need Ca, EEG
has a 30 percent chance of recurrence, 2-7 percent chance ofbeen epileptic,

P2. 2/12 meningitis.

expected atleast less than 30 percent sequale, steroids given before antibiotics.
steroids, not recommended, already recieved 2 doses antibiotics, Lp was not turbid/
CT? no prolonged sedation, no N deficit, OFC static, s.d effusion, no late seizures
